the Hermannsburg
Mission is
the most famous
of all the
religious missions
to Aboriginies.
It was established
by German Lutherans
in the late
19th century.
In 1982 the land
was handed back
to the traditional
owners.
Hermannsburg
is now a thriving
Aboriginal
community.
